News Flash:
Imaginations Unlimited publishes it’s first Special Edition: Christmas
2007 Captain Davis climbed
into the archives and brought out a “Classic” from November 2003.
In September, 2006, Captain
Davis embarked on a new adventure.
Being a fan-fiction
writer, and knowing that there were others like him in the region, He
decided to proceed with a project meant to offer those writers a place
to showcase their works. A fanzine.
The project was begun
with a contest to name the new fanzine, with Captain davis putting up a
prize for the winner. From
several submissions, the winner was selected as Janice Graham of the
U.S.S. Renegade, with her submission of “Imaginations Unlimited”
And so it began. First there were only a few
pages per issue, but some issues have grown to well over thirty pages.
Imaginations
Unlimited is published bimonthly, alternating with the region 01
newsletter, Channel 01.
Volume 5 was issued at the end of May, 2007 and Volume 6 is do
out at the end of July, 2007, and so on.
Anyone wishing to
submit to Imaginations Unlimited may do so by sending their submission
to Captain
