The Pride of The Hoosier State!

Regional and Fleet Events

Every year, the region and fleet have a variety of events, which members of the Indiana are able to attend.

The main event for the region is the Regional Summit.  This is a sort of 'business meeting' for the region, though anyone can, and is invited to, attend. and it does have it's fun side, especially seeing friends that you amy not get to see any other time.

During the Summit, a variety of things are done, including handing out awards, launching new shuttles, panels are conducted on just about any subject from Star Trek Engineering to Science to Costuming to Recruiting.  Some kind of a banquet is usually held, sometimes another cookout or some other festivity is not unusual.  And several activities will be held for the family, like trips to aquariums or other points of interest in the area.

In 2005, the Summit moved out of Pigeon Forge for the first time in many years,  The new site for 2005 was Charlotte, North Carolina, being hosted by the U.S.S. North Carolina.  In 2006, the sire was Akron, Ohio, hosted by the U.S.S. Liberator and U.S.S. Renegade,

In 2007, the Summit will be held in Richmond Virginia in the last weekend of April.
